PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC)
The Siemens PLC controls and or monitors all the functions of the system. The PLC contains a RS485 programmable interface mode using ASC II protocols.

OPERATIONS PARAMETER DISPLAY

Siemens Touch Screen Panel: Adjustments for the conveyor speed and power settings for cure zones are made from the touch screen. In addition, the touch screen displays the actual speed of the conveyor, power settings and the actual temperature of the PCB's being cured. There are 30 pre-set memory settings for process re-call.

V CONVEYOR

Constructed of 304 Stainless Steel. Conveyor is driven by DC motor and is adjustable to run between 0 to 6 FPM.

INFRARED QUARTZ LAMP
This is the heart of the system. The type of lamps used in this system are very efficient. Total time that it takes for a PCB to travel through the IR system is 4 minutes! Warm up time of the system is less the 5 minutes! The lamps are operated and adjusted via SCR controllers. A photo-eye can be placed at the entrance of your developer when you want to utilize the automatic shut off feature. This will allow the curing system time to heat up. If the photo-eye has not seen a PCB pass in a given amount of time, the curing system will power down.

LAMP HOUSING
The lamp housing is onstructed of stainless steel. Easy access to both the top and bottom housings can be easily accessed without the need to disassemble the machine. The top and bottom housings are mounted on a track system and can be pulled out for easy access to the top and bottom lamps. If panels need to be taken out of machine, all electrical is mounted with quick disconnects and there are only 4 mounting bolts per panel.

IR THERMOMETER

There are IR thermometers located a the exit of each heating/curing zone. The IR thermometers read the actual temperature of the PCB being cured. The IR sensors are protected by an air purge cooling system.

COOL DOWN ZONE

The cool down zone utilizes forced air panels located above and below the conveyor.

SAFETY INTERLOCKS ON SERVICE DOORS
To ensure the safety of the operator during operation, the service doors are fitted with an interlocking system. If any of the service doors are opened during operation, the lamps and conveyor will be disengaged.
