The test
reports are provided to show the advantage of infrared curing
over convection curing. The test method used was Weight Loss
in accordance with ASTM-595, NASA SP-R0022A and ESA PSS-01-0702.
The test results indicate that after final cure, the convection
result is .20 and the TruCure result is .13. Convection result
.20, illustrates that there were more volatiles left in the
soldermask after final cure. When utilizing the TruCure system,
there were more volatiles extracted during the curing process,
thus giving infrared a more favorable final cure.
